Six years. Six wins. One very big thank you.
We’re incredibly excited to announce that The Times Duo has once again been named Best Live Entertainment for Phillip Island and Gippsland at the Gippsland and Phillip Island Wedding Awards.
And yes… that makes it six wins in a row!
For two local musicians from Cape Woolamai, this means a lot.
We’ve spent years playing weddings, parties, pubs, corporate events and celebrations across Phillip Island, Bass Coast and Gippsland, so being recognised by the couples and people we’ve had the pleasure of performing for is something we’re genuinely proud of.
More than just a wedding band
While weddings are a huge part of what we do, The Times is about much more than the traditional wedding band.
We play everything from relaxed background music while guests arrive, through to full-volume dance-floor sets when the party really gets going.
We can provide live music, DJing, PA and lighting, making The Times a flexible entertainment option for weddings, private parties, corporate functions, birthdays and other celebrations.
And because every event is different, we don’t believe in simply turning up and playing the same set every time.
Sometimes it’s a relaxed afternoon at a vineyard.
Sometimes it’s an outdoor stage at a private property.
Sometimes it’s a packed Phillip Island dance floor at midnight.
Our job is to read the room, choose the right songs and help create the atmosphere the occasion needs.

Being based in Cape Woolamai, we’re lucky enough to perform regularly throughout Phillip Island and the Bass Coast.
Over the years we’ve played at many of the region’s weddings, pubs, private properties and major events, as well as venues and events across Gippsland.
That local connection is something we really value.
We know the venues, we know the area and, importantly, we know that people come to Phillip Island and Gippsland to celebrate.
